Ranks & Promotions
The rank and promotion system is designed to increase the leadership opportunities for our students in the youth leadership program as well as to show the students’ position and level of responsibility within Progress Peel. Promotions to higher ranks are earned through developing skills, volunteering and leading campaigns, and having a strong commitment to the organization.
Progress Peels students can check what is required for them to be promoted to the next rank through their Progress Peel online portal. If students notice any errors or omissions in their rank & promotion profile, they should contact staff to get things fixed.
The first promotion occurs when the student earns their shirt. This is when the student receives their Progress Peel branded shirt with their name on it and they become a full part of the organization. This promotion takes place as soon as the requirements are met. For all other promotions, they are performed at the final training event in June.
