Community Improvement

Progress Peel students will engage in community improvement activities while earning volunteer hours. Community improvement projects will range from very local projects like park cleanup to projects that cover the entire Region of Peel like encouraging people to properly separate organic, recyclable, and regular garbage. Research into the issue at hand will be an important part of community improvement projects so Progress Peel students can learn at a deeper level the underlying cause of the challenges faced by their communities and the larger region.
