Parneet Chahal
My name is Parneet Chahal. From my experience in engineering, youth leadership, and community involvement, I have learned that real change happens when people are equipped with the right tools and support. That’s why I’m proud to be a part of Progress Peel an organization committed to building stronger communities by educating and empowering the next generation of leaders.
My Story
Parneet brings a diverse background in engineering, youth leadership, and community service to her role at Progress Peel. As a Mechanical Engineering student, Parneet has developed valuable technical and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects, academic work, and design challenges. Outside of academics, Parneet has spent several years involved in the Royal Canadian Army Cadets, progressing through leadership roles and later returning as a staff member to help mentor and train younger cadets. This experience has helped Parneet build strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, which she now applies to supporting young leaders and driving community-focused initiatives. Whether guiding youth teams, mentoring young leaders, or helping organize civic engagement projects, Parneet is passionate about creating opportunities for others to learn, grow, and succeed.
