Martin Singh
My name is Martin Singh. From my community work in the Region of Peel, I have learned that people care deeply about their communities. Progress Peel is dedicated to making our communities better through educating our citizens and taking action to implement the solutions to our common challenges. Progress Peel is also dedicated to developing the leaders of tomorrow through our youth leadership training program.
My Story
Martin brings his extensive education, business, and military experience to the job of running Progress Peel. With degrees in Chemistry (BSc), Chemical Engineering (BEng), Pharmacy (BPharm), and an MBA, Martin has the education background to research and teach about what needs to be done in Progress Peel’s community activism and youth leadership training program. Martin’s business and military experience has taught him how to manage large numbers of people and have them work together to achieve common goals. Martin is a partner in Precision Health Group, a healthcare company with locations in Nova Scotia and Ontario employing over 300 people. In the military, Martin has served as a Pharmacy Officer in the reserves and, since 2018, as a cadet officer and as the former Commanding Officer of the local army cadet corps. Martin’s experience with the cadet program has given him the skills and experience to train children to become the best they can be.
